What is DirectX....?

                 A video game Platform, or a Plugin or Extension that is must required for video gamers, programers, graphics and vide,  on windows,

According To the Wikipedia:

                 Microsoft DirectX is a collection of application programming interfaces for handling tasks related to multimedia, especially game programming and video, on Microsoft platforms.

There are several Versions of DirectX,  Each has different requirements,
But we are going to discuss only Names of the Versions and their basics.

DirectX 12:
                   DirectX 12 is developed by Microsoft. was released on July 29, 2015. 
It is a collection of application programming interfaces (APIs) for handling tasks related to multimedia, like game programming and video, on Microsoft platforms i.e WindowsOS, Xbox, etc 
                   Direct3D is also used by other software applications for visualization and graphics tasks such as CAD/CAM engineering

System Requirements for DirectX 12:

Processor	[ 3.0 GHz ] Minimum
RAM or Memory	[ 4GB ] Minimum
Video Memory	[ 2GB ] Minimum
Storage of Hard Disk Space	[ 150 MB ] Minimum
Operating System	[ Windows 7,8,8.1,10 ]
File Size	[ 96 MB ]

DirectX 11:
                   Similar to DirectX12, but does not contain some features as DirectX12 contain. 
DirectX 11 is also developed by Microsoft. was released on Feb 26, 2017. 
                   It is a collection of application programming interfaces (APIs) for handling tasks related to multimedia, like game programming and video, on Microsoft platforms i.e WindowsOS, Xbox, etc 
                   Direct3D is also used by other software applications for visualization and graphics tasks such as CAD/CAM engineering

DirectX 10:

                     DirectX 11 is also developed by Microsoft. was released on Nov 30, 2006. 

Almost similar to other versions of DirectX, but this version contains lacks of features
